About The Ranch
You can feel and smell the fresh air of the ELK River! At DAK’s Dog Ranch we offer nine (9) large outdoor play areas on our 6-acre property. Your dogs will enjoy playing on several obstacle courses and cooling off in our dog pond!
Our ranch has shaded areas and fenced-in play yards with natural grass, trees and plenty of room to run, wrestle and play! We even have walking trails! Our goal is to give each canine guest the individual care and attention that they need...including raw feeding and all types of medication administration.

When you are looking for the best in accommodations in Northern Alabama for your dog(s), nothing less than DAK’s Dog Ranch will do! We can pick up your dog(s) and return them to you at the end of the day or board them as many nights and days as you need.

The Apartment
Your dog(s) enjoy their own luxury, climate controlled 300 sqft apartment with a discount for each additional pack member. Book early, we only have one!
The Townhouse Kennel
No cramped spaces at DAK's Dog Ranch. We offer kennels from 5' x 5' to to 10' x 10' with and without directly connected outruns. No crates at DAK's Dog Ranch!
The Condo Kennel
A boarding experience specifically targeted for our anxious, little, and senior guest. Designed with a home-like feeling in mind. Boarding can be stressful, so our job is to minimize the stress on our four-legged friends
Doggie Playground
Our large, over one-acre lot is sectioned in to nine fenced play areas and includes an obstacle course and built-in dog pool! Play areas are protected against jumpers and diggers.
Exercise & Play Time
Your dog(s) will enjoy play time and exercise all throughout the day! At DAK's we will spend, weather and dog permitting, as much time outside as possible.
Your Pack
We offer a home away from home setting! No matter which boarding package you choose, your pack will be housed together.
24/7 On-site Care
Your dog(s) will be well cared for and looked after 24/7! DAK's Dog Ranch owners live on-site and are 100 feet away from the boarding facility.
Emergency Education
All our staff at DAK's Dog Ranch went through the Canine CPR and first aid certification class. At DAK's the wellbeing of your pet's are our priority.

Doggie Daycare at the ranch is a fun time for your dog(s) to run and play! All year long, your pooch can play on the canine obstacle course...and in the summer time, we have a dog pool for those dogs that enjoy escaping the heat to splash around in the water!
Daycare is available by appointment only. Please get in contact with us to schedule your next play session!
$10 Round Trip Fee + $0.60 per mile
Time cruches happen, we understand. For your convenience, we offer pick-up and drop-off services for your dog(s). We will pickup and/or drop off your doggo(s) to or from your home.
Included
Some of our canine guests are on a special or raw food diet. We are happy to freeze or refridgerate your dog's raw food to ensure it stays fresh. If your dog is on a special diet, no problem, just bring us their food and feeding instructions when you drop them off.
Included
If your pooch is on medication, we are happy to administer their meds (pills, liquid or injections) during their stay. We ask that you provide instructions on dosages and how often to administer when you drop them off.
